PUBLIC EDUCATION
Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-1, Tucson, conducts public classes several times each year. In the spring and the fall, Boating Skills and Seamanship classes meet weekly for several weeks, depending on the number of lessons to be covered. This class covers such basic topics as boat terms and how to select a boat, equipment needed for the boat, trailering the boat, rules of the road and other topics to keep the boater safe on the water.
