Ms. Jeannette Harding will be attending the meeting for me on Wednesday, August 4.  
Hopefully, Steve Roamer will havesome plans drawn up.  The biggest misconception some 
dog owners have is that I have given permission for dog owners to let their dogs run 
aroundthe fields unleashed.  This is not true.  There is a city ordinance that I do not 
have the authority to over rule.  

Secondly, it is imperative that dogs, kids and bikes stay off the new track.  I will lock the track 
up if people do not respect the money that has been put into this new facility.

The proposed dog park I think is a very worthy project.  Please understand two things; first, 
the money needs to be raised by the city and or privately.  Secondly,  once the park is created, 
the expectation is that the dogs go to play and exercise in the park not on the rest of the fields.

I will certainly do my best to make any other community meetings when I return from vacation.
