Who Are the Real “Racists”?

As the phenomenon known as the “Tea Party” took root and began growing riotously, the American Left cast about for ways to denigrate its members and to shame them into silence. Initially, it depicted tea party members as violent extremists, but visual examination of the rally attendees showed how silly those charges were. A large number of them turned out to be harmless housewives. Another large segment was made up of their complaisant husbands. That criticism soon faded. The Left’s next tactic was to depict the rallyers as red-necked dolts, incapable of spelling their own signs correctly. That tactic exploded when some enterprising pollster queried the rallyers about their educational attainments and discovered that 38% of them held college degrees, a figure well above the national average. Now the Left’s criticism du jour has become the charge that Tea Party members are racists.
The only support they proffer for such a charge is that the rallyers are critical of President Obama and his policies. President Obama is black, ergo his critics are racists. Even though some of the rallyers are black themselves, that doesn’t matter. Even though none of the rallyers have ever committed a racial act, that doesn’t matter. Whitey has an inbred racism and it is coming out at the Tea Parties.
That is a very serious charge. Uttering it heedlessly does great harm to the ongoing efforts of white people to bring harmony to racial relations. Those efforts stretch all the way back to 1840 or thereabouts. Approximately a quarter of a million white men gave their lives during the Civil War to win fair and equal treatment for American blacks.
To merit a charge of racism, it would seem one should have done something to harm or at least disadvantage black people. Can anyone honestly say that Tea Partyers have displayed a deep-seated hostility to the black community? What is it that they have done wrong?
There is in fact one persistent effort made to harm black people that has been going on for nearly a hundred years in America. It has been given the imposing title of Genetics. Its adherents include Margaret Sanger, who created Planned Parenthood, and Justice Oliver Wendall Holmes who opined that “ it was time to stop the practice of one group of idiots from spawning another group of idiots, even unto the seventh generation.” Its favorite tactics were, and are, abortion and sterilization. Its favorite targets are black people. It is a policy that is flagrantly genocidal and it has worked.
Black women have 36% of the abortions performed in America performed on them. This, despite the fact that the black population make up only 13% of the total United States population. A black woman is roughly three times as likely to have her baby aborted than is a white woman. Abortion centers are mostly built in ghettos. From the beginning of Margaret Sanger’s career she and her ilk have openly announced a goal to reduce the percentage of black and/or poor babies in our communities. It is only a matter of time until black people in America will be as rare as the carrier pigeon.
And who are the principle supporters of Planned Parenthood and of unrestricted abortions today? Why, none other than Democratic politicians.
And who are the racists who have been decimating our black population? Why, none other than those who are today charging Tea Partyers with that heinous crime---the Left and its lackeys in public office. Racists!
