Nature Explorers
For a list of the schedule, themes and locations click here.

This program  meets once a week for 2 hours and is designed for emerging skills students, ages 7-10, grades 3-5.  We will use  field trips to explore and engage in nature. We will spend some days  in the classroom but most days will be arranged to meet parents and students at a local field site.

Older students from other environmental programs may mentor on field projects and this class will be very   hands-on oriented.

This is an experiential class, with little homework or other academic assignments, although I am happy to work with parents if they want to supplement this class with activities and learning at home. Parents will need to transport students to field trip locations around the Skykomish Watershed.
