Large businesses contribute 17% of our total campaign dollars!  Without the generous contributions of these businesses, the United Way would not be able to support the valuable organizations that are the United Way team.

Not only do local businesses provide monetary support, they also make invaluable in-kind contributions.  It is expensive to run any organization, and the less money the United Way must spend on administrative costs, the more money we can dedicate to supporting human service organizations.

Many Chatham County residents travel outside the county to work.  But they return home each day... and home is Chatham County.  Chatham County is where they see their doctors, send their children to school and receive other services that are so important to their lives.

Unfortunately, many people do not know that they can designate their United Way workplace contributions back to Chatham County.  Giving to the United Way is important... but if you do not designate to Chatham County, the local organizations that we support cannot feel the full benefit of your dollars.
